Housing Resource Center (HRC)

Eligibility and Assessment: Simplified access to housing services by coordinating applications, providing services when funding is available and referring to other homeless housings providers for additional/longer services.

Emergency Housing (EH) Assistance

Help for individuals/families that are at risk of becoming homeless. This is a service which stabilizes the household to prevent them from homelessness and ending up in the shelter or on the streets.

Transitional Living Program

Referal Process: Clients are referred into the program through Commity Mental Health providers. Packets are available through BFDHS.

Eligibility determination requires at a minimum documentation that the household lacks both of the following:

  • Sufficient financial resources and
  • Support networks to obtain/retain housing

Services are not guaranteed and subject to funding availability.
